Leasing gives horse-lovers the feeling of ownership, without the long-term commitment.
All of our leases are on-site at DE; we do not offer off-site leasing. Partial leases require 2 lessons per week, and 1/3 of the horses board, farrier, vaccinations. A lease fee is assigned to each horse depending on its experience. Horses are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please scroll down for a list of available equines.
Dakota - AVAILABLE
Dakota is a 15yo quarter horse gelding with a lot of show experience in multiple disciplines. He can start western pleasure, run a reining pattern, then saddle up for an afternoon of hunt seat on the flat or over fences. He jumps 2'6" with flying changes, and has shown 4H, IEA, and on the local schooling circuit. He clips, bathes, loads easily, and is an overall pro in the show environment.
Bella (PONY) - AVAILABLE
Definitely a barn favorite, Bella is currently the only pony in the barn and certainly lives up to the expectations of cuteness! She is a 13.2 hand Chestnut Sport Pony mare. She has been used in everything from pony rides to 2’ jumping courses. Bella has successfully competed at schooling shows and IEA shows in the crossrails and has a nice calm demeanor in that environment. She has the most comfortable trot any kid could ask for and she jumps with her knees to her chin. Bella would make a great fit for a smaller intermediate/advanced rider looking to compete up to 2’ level.
Wrangler - LEASED
Hogan - LEASED
Hogan has been the “Professor” of our Riding School for almost 3 years. He is an American Warmblood Chestnut gelding standing at about 16.1 hands. He has a very gentle nature and is easy to learn on. He has 3 comfortable gaits including a lovely rocking horse canter. Hogan has been an extremely reliable show mount for schooling shows and IEA shows. He is a complete packer in the cross rails division, with a history of Champion ribbons and 1st place performances under riders who have never ridden him before. He is best suited for riders practicing walk, trot and canter and riders jumping cross rails to 2’3”.
