Dakota is a 15 year old quarter horse gelding with a lot of show experience in multiple disciplines. He can start western pleasure, run a reining pattern, then saddle up for an afternoon of hunt seat on the flat or over fences. He jumps 2'6" with flying changes, and has shown 4H, IEA, and on the local schooling circuit. He clips, bathes, loads easily, and is an overall pro in the show environment.
Definitely a barn favorite, Bella is currently the only pony in the barn and certainly lives up to the expectations of cuteness! She is a 13.2 hand Chestnut Sport Pony mare. She has been used in everything from pony rides to 2’ jumping courses. Bella has successfully competed at schooling shows and IEA shows in the crossrails and has a nice calm demeanor in that environment. She has the most comfortable trot any kid could ask for and she jumps with her knees to her chin. Bella would make a great fit for a smaller intermediate/advanced rider looking to compete or practice up the the 2’ level.
Laredo is is stunning gelding that will capture any eye. He has wavy locks to die for! He is a 16 hand Quarter Horse x Arabian cross with a previous career in the Hunter/Jumper ring up to 3’. He is currently used in lessons teaching everything from walk/trot to 2’3” course work. Laredo needs a bit more of an assertive rider over fences and practicing the canter so is probably best suited for an Intermediate/advanced rider in that department. However, he is a safe and reliable mount for anyone wanting to just practice at the walk and the trot. When performing to his potential, Laredo is a horse to brag about!
Hogan has been the “Professor” of our Riding School for almost 3 years. He is an American Warmblood Chestnut gelding standing at about 16.1 hands. He has a very gentle nature and is easy to learn on. He has 3 comfortable gaits including a lovely rocking horse canter. Hogan has been an extremely reliable show mount for schooling shows and IEA shows. He is a complete packer in the cross rails division, with a history of Champion ribbons and 1st place performances under riders who have never ridden him before. He is best suited for riders practicing walk, trot and canter and riders jumping cross rails to 2’3”.
Lady is a 16.2 hands beautiful bay warmblood. Her sweet and calm disposition make her a barn favorite. She is eager to please, and would be a great match for a lower level dressage rider or beginner who is just learning to canter. This lovely schoolmaster has the ability to teach her riders lower level dressage as well as how to canter, jump over cross rails and perform flying lead changes.
