Zuma's Rescue Ranch is teaming up with Denver Equestrians and American Sport Horses ~to create a new breed of riding school~
The Academy at Zuma's Rescue Ranch
Picture gentle horses rescued from slaughter who are healthy, trained and thriving~
Now they have a new job: Teaching children how to ride.
The Academy is a place where the child's safety and education and the horse's welfare are all top priorities.
Six-week courses will offer instruction, riding, and a horse show to conclude the program.
Your lesson fees will go toward supporting these horses, and will also offer children less fortunate the opportunity to apply for a scholarship.
We also offer courses for adults who are interested in the world of horse care and riding.
Finally, a chance to learn about riding and caring for horses... all while giving back to the majestic animals who love us unconditionally...
Upon completion of the program, we offer specialized training in Jumping or Dressage, leasing and horse rescue/purchase opportunities, and the ability to participate in rated horse shows.
If you are interested in joining The Academy, a 30-minute evaluation is required. During the meeting, we will discuss details of the program, any background experience and goals for you or your child, followed by a brief riding session to ensure it is a good fit for everyone.
