IEA Horse Show Teams

For horse lovers in middle school and high school, we offer Interscholastic Equestrian Association horse show teams. Riders compete against others their level to achieve ribbons, awards, scholarships, and more! Hunt Seat and Dressage disciplines.

CHJA and Rated Horse Shows

For riders of all ages (including adults), we attend Colorado Hunter Jumper Association and Rated Horse Shows. Bring your own horse - or lease one of our schoolmasters - and go for the ribbons with your coaches!

DERS Hosted Horse Shows

Our members are invited to participate in quarterly horse shows that we host at home in the spring, summer, fall and winter!

CHA Level Testing Horse Shows

2026 DERS Riders and their CHA Achievements!

At DERS, we pride ourselves on the level of standardized equine education we instill in our students. DERS Members receive lessons in the saddle as well as unmounted education as part of our structured lesson program. We bring in a certified CHA judge for the riding portion and provide written testing as well in the Spring and Fall of each year. Earn your Level 1 Certificate and continue riding up the levels with us!

The founder of DERS and owner of Colorado Equestrian Center, Corinne M. Lettau, received her CHA Level 4 Certificate in 1980, and CHA Riding Instructor Certification in 1993. To ensure these standards continue to be met, all instructors receive CHA Instructor Certification as a signing bonus when employed at Denver Equestrians Riding School.
