New Clients Start HERE!

 

All new clients begin with a New Rider Assessment lesson.  The “NRA” is a 60-minute private (or semi-private if you want to ride with a friend) lesson for horse lovers of all levels, which includes use of one of our horses and tack, in our state-of-the-art equestrian paradise. 

In this session, Beginners learn the basics to get started on a journey with horses. Intermediate to Advanced riders have the opportunity to show us what they know  Your instructor will go over riding goals, skills and knowledge to determine the best DERS programs for you. We will also use this information to match you with appropriate horses in future lessons, and for accurate placement within Group Lessons, Programs for Adults, or Youth Riding Clubs.

The riding portion will be tailored to your experience. Have fun in the saddle, ask questions, and enjoy the journey!

Riders should wear jeans or breeches and a polo, button-down or t-shirt (no tank tops or shorts). We have an indoor arena, however riders should still dress for the weather with a jacket if needed.

All riders are required to have SEI/ATSM Approved Horseback Riding Helmets. Boots with a flat sole and a heel are also required. Tall boots or paddock boots with half chaps and Western boots are all acceptable. We have these items for rent or for sale in the Main Office.

Tennis shoes, hiking boots or winter boots are not permitted per our insurance company.
